Retreat Registration & Payment

Retreat pricing is set based on your lodging selection. If you need a specific pricing accommodation or scholarship, please complete our 👉Scholarship Request Form.

Whether you are requesting a full scholarship or offering a different amount than the listed price, we are happy to work with you to make retreat attendance possible.

Payment Plan Options

We offer a flexible payment plan for your convenience:

Pay 20% up front to reserve your spot
The remaining balance will be split into monthly payments
Payments continue until 4 months after the retreat ends

If you are not accepted to the retreat, your payment will be fully refunded.

We offer a peaceful, natural camping area behind the Chan Center, accessible by walking through our back lot or via Old Saint Augustine Road. Campers are fully supported with 3 meals a day, access to bathrooms and showers, and a beautiful outdoor setting with Florida’s signature Live Oak trees and Spanish moss.

🌱 Camping Guidelines
Tent Size: We recommend a 3–4 person tent to give you space to sleep, sit, and organize personal items. Weather-Ready Setup:

Make sure your tent is rainproof

Use a ground tarp or pad underneath

Air out your tent regularly — Florida is humid!

Sleep Comfortably: A sleeping pad, cot, or lightweight mattress helps you rest and recover. Helpful Gear:

Headlamp or flashlight

Slip-on shoes

Bug spray

Layers for warmth or sun protection

🚿 Bathrooms & Showers
Campers have access to bathrooms in both the main Chan Center and dorms. Shared shower times will be scheduled — you’ll sign up for a slot in the appropriate dorm before the retreat.

🐜 Safety & Nature Awareness
The field is part of a natural ecosystem. Please be mindful of:

Uneven terrain

Fire ant mounds

Poison ivy

Ticks — check yourself daily

If you are staying off-site (in a hotel, shared room, or a home in Tallahassee), you may register as a commuter. As a commuter, you must have reliable transportation and be able to arrive on time each morning and stay through the end of the day’s schedule. This option is intended for those who are local or have arranged nearby housing independently. Commuters will receive 3 vegetarian meals per day and are fully integrated into the retreat schedule and group. Please plan to attend the entire retreat, including early mornings and evening sessions.

Shared Dorm Housing (Bunk Bed Style)
🛏️ Our shared dorms are cozy, simple spaces located across three renovated buildings — including 1338 and 1344 Linda Ann Drive — just behind the main center. These homes have been lovingly restored by our community and now serve as comfortable housing for retreatants. Each dorm includes:

Bunk-bed style sleeping (you’ll be sharing a room with others)

Shared heated shower and toilet facilities

Access to a fridge for storing small items

Basic bedding provided

We will assign dorms based on age, physical ability, and retreat experience after you are accepted to the retreat. Spaces are limited — we have approximately 26 beds total across all dormitories. Please note: This is our standard housing option for those staying on site. It provides a peaceful, supportive environment for deep practice alongside fellow retreatants.
